ON-SITE EDUCATION & INSTRUCTION
On-site workshops focused on waste management plan implementation save you the work required to repeatedly instruct site teams or manually separate waste that’s been incorrectly directed. WasteCap will instruct the contractor, employees and subcontractors about their role in the program. WasteCap will also ensure the the proper placement, timing and labeling of collection bins. If requested, an additional fee for signage will be applied.
ONGOING INSPECTIONS
Regular site and process inspections keep your team on track. WasteCap will interview job site crews, check for missorted materials and correct any errors. Monthly reports of your materials (by weight and volume) will inform you of progress, deficiencies and remediation possibilities.
TRACKING AND REPORTING
WasteCap will compile waste tickets, metrics and reports all in one convenient location. Utilizing WasteCap TRACE, WasteCap will digitally track and produce comprehensive project evaluations. This includes weight, volume, GHG emissions and financial impact. A final report will be completed upon project completion. WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
Creating a construction and demolition waste management plan is a crucial step for your project’s success. WasteCap will develop and implement a plan that will:
- Establish waste diversion goals for the project by identifying a minimum of five materials (both structural and nonstructural) targeted for diversion and approximate the percentage of the overall project waste from these targeted materials.
- Specify whether materials will be separated or commingled and describe the diversion strategies planned for the project.
- Include a description of where the materials will be taken and how the recycling facility will process the material.
