our Board

Board of Directors

 As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, WasteCap Resource Solutions is led by a highly motivated and dedicated Board of Directors. The Board of Directors generously volunteer their time, provide industry expertise, and steer the organization. Directors are elected for two-year terms and may serve no more than three total terms.

Dave Koss
​Really Resourceful Group

Dave Koss is the Chair of WasteCap's Board and the owner of Really Resourceful Group an advertising agency founded in 2011 focusing on media buying in Wisconsin and Illinois. He was previously the Executive Director of the Scottish Rite Chicago and fraternal non-profit association. Dave has also worked in public policy, communications, crisis management, and public relations. He lives in the Kenosha area and is married with two children.

​Cascade Asset Management

Neil Peters-Michaud brings expertise in electronics waste diversion to WasteCap’s Board. As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Cascade Asset Management, Mr. Peters-Michaud develops and directs the company’s strategic vision to minimize environmental risk through responsible practices, providing safe and secure technology disposition services nationwide.

Amundsen davis llp

Ngosong Fonkem is a partner at Amundsen Davis LLC and assists clients with developing and maintaining their global trade compliance management systems. Most recently he co-authored a book on international trade and geopolitics titled, Trade Crash: A Primer on Surviving and Thriving in Pandemics & Global Trade Disruption."

Taylor lemke
​Northwestern Mutual

Taylor Lemke is a CPA professional who brings financial insight and strategic budget planning to WasteCap’s Board. In his capacity as the Assistant Director of Investment Accounting at Northwestern Mutual, he manages financial accounting for the company’s investments, including stocks, bonds, real estate, and mortgage loans. He believes that providing businesses with proper waste management practices is vital to the long-term health of the community and the planet.

Heritage Environmental Services

Brian Gaughan is a proven industry expert in driving positive environmental change and diverting waste while reducing costs. He brings 30 years of business development experience in the Waste Management, Recycling, and Environmental Services industry to WasteCap’s Board. As the current Director of Heritage Environmental Services, he promotes corporate sustainability by providing businesses with compliant waste management solutions.

Shelley Heilman
 WDNR Liaison, WI Department of Natural Resources

Shelley Heilman serves as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Liaison for WasteCap Resource Solutions. Ms. Heilman serves as the Environmental Business Support Coordinator at DNR. In her capacity as Liaison, she brings extensive knowledge of state policies and waste regulations and works with WasteCap to help ensure proper solid waste management practices, preserve resources, conserve energy and reduce the need for more landfills.

Chris June
 Pellitteri waste systems

Chris June was born and raised in Madison and graduated from Madison Memorial High School in 2001 (now Val Phillips Memorial). After working construction out of high school for a couple years, he went back to school and graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2005 with a degree in Marketing. He worked at Pellitteri Waste Systems since 2010, in the Sales Manager role since 2017 and now resides in Lodi, WI with his wife and two sons, ages 3 & 6. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active whether it be exercising, chasing after kids, spending time on Lake, WI with family and friends or attending live music shows, and, of course, cheering on all Wisconsin sports!

Blackbridge Investments

Marty Oxman specializes in waste diversion and environmental sustainability. He brings over 21 years of experience of relationship management, sales, and consulting experience in the recycling industry to WasteCap’s leadership and currently works as an Account Executive at BlackBridge Investments.

Solana Patterson-Ramos
MILWAUKEE FOOD COUNCIL
Solana Patterson-Ramos is currently the Executive Director of the Milwaukee Food Council, which aims to ensure Milwaukee has an equitable food system. Born and raised in Milwaukee, she has over 15 years of experience in community outreach and communication. She has a passion for recycling and reducing food waste.

Jim Birmingham
Pioneer Industries International

Jim Birmingham brings 50 years of recycling experience in paper, plastic and metals as well as sales and plant operations. Currently with the Carton Council, Mid-West manager. Jim received the Christy Dixon Recycler of the Year Award from the Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin in 2024.
