In the early 2000s, WasteCap expanded its impact by launching WasteCap TRACE, a waste diversion tracking tool, in 2005. This innovation was complemented by the introduction of the first public Construction and Demolition (C&D) Training in 2006, equipping industry professionals with essential waste management skills. The same year marked the inaugural R3 Awards Ceremony, celebrating excellence in waste management. WasteCap's advocacy efforts also led to policy development supporting C&D waste management in state projects.
