Reduce your Organization’s Travel Impact

Help reduce your organization's impact on the environment. Support an employee vanpool or car pool program, and offer those who don’t drive incentives to take mass transit. Also, provide environmentally friendly options for those who drive, such as transit subsidies, preferred parking for carpoolers, and racks or lockers for bicyclists' gear.

Also, think about purchasing hybrid vehicles for your company fleet. Vehicles like the Honda Civic Hybrid and the Toyota Prius are very comparable to other sedans on the market.   These vehicles get in the range of 50 miles per gallon and are eligible for a $2,000 federal tax deduction as a “clean-fuel vehicle”.
