Insight into Green Purchasing at the
State’s Annual Vendor Fair and Conference
The 7th Annual Buy Recycled and
EPPs Vendor Fair and Conference – “Beyond Buying Recycled: EPPs
and Sustainability” – will be
held on Tuesday, October 30, 2001, at the Worcester Centrum from
7:30am to 4pm. This
popular one-day conference, sponsored by the Massachusetts Operational
Services Division, will showcase over 100 vendors of recycled and other
environmentally preferable products (EPPs).
It will also provide a new slate of workshop topics featuring
environmental products that save money; green procurement opportunities
that reduce disposal costs; and highlights of efforts currently underway
to address issues such as indoor air quality, climate change, and
sustainability. All public
sector personnel are invited to attend.
