Center for Ecological Technology
CET was founded in 1976 to research, develop, demonstrate, and promote technologies with
the least disruptive impact on the environment. Issues CET deals with include energy
and resource conservation, solid waste management, indoor air quality, and sustainable
development. CET works with WasteCap to coordinate the Massachusetts Buy Recycled
Business Alliance in Western Massachusetts.

CEERE is located at UMass-Amherst and works to increase manufacturers' competitiveness via
energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Chelsea Center
Created in 1995 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Chelsea Center creates jobs,
supports recycling efforts, and helps the economy and the environment by working to
increase manufacturers' use of recyclables. This site reviews the directories
published by the Chelsea Center, provides technical assistance for businesses, and
contains information on news and events at the Chelsea Center and in the recycling
industry.

MMP works to increase competitiveness of small- to medium-sized manufacturers in
Massachusetts. Their site includes case studies, information by state regions, and a
review of the types of projects that help companies increase quality, increase
productivity, reduce costs, and increase pollution prevention opportunities.

Northeast Business Environmental Network
NBEN is an apolitical forum designed to bring together environmental, health & safety
professionals in an effort to promote the widespread adoption of better EH&S

NorthEast Recycling Council
NERC works to increase the demand for recyclable materials and recycled products, increase
