WasteCap's Mission:
WasteCap of Massachusetts is the statewide, non-profit, public/private partnership working with the business
community to develop and implement cost-effective programs for recycling,
buying recycled, reuse, and waste reduction.
Supported by the business community and the Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection (DEP), WasteCap of Massachusetts was created in
1994 to demonstrate that the private sector could voluntarily and
effectively reduce solid waste through the development and implementation
of solid waste management programs.
Through many diverse technical assistance programs, WasteCap helps the business community
recognize and value the economic and environmental benefits that result from
recycling and waste reduction.
